Ingredients:
1/2 kg boneless chicken, cut into bite-sized pieces
2 tomatoes, chopped
2 green chilies, chopped
1 onion, chopped
2 tbsp vegetable oil
1 tsp cumin seeds
1 tsp coriander seeds
1 tsp garam masala powder
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
1/2 tsp red chili powder
1/2 tsp black pepper
Salt, to taste
1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro, for garnish
1 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
Directions:
In a large pot, heat the oil over medium heat. Add the cumin seeds and coriander seeds and cook for 1-2 minutes, until fragrant.
Add the chopped onion and cook for 3-4 minutes, until the onion is soft and translucent.
Add the ginger-garlic paste and cook for 1-2 minutes, stirring constantly.
Add the chicken to the pot and cook for 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the chicken is browned on all sides.
Add the chopped tomatoes, green chilies, garam masala powder, turmeric powder, red chili powder, black pepper, and salt to the pot and stir to combine.
Cover the pot and cook for 15-20 minutes, or until the chicken is fully cooked and the sauce has thickened.
Garnish with chopped cilantro and serve hot with rice, naan or roti. Enjoy your delicious Chicken Karahi!
